1. USER INFORMATION

Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

Sociedad Española de Urgencias de Pediatría is the CONTROLLER for processing your personal data and informs you that such data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).

What do we process your personal data for and why do we do it?

Depending on the form through which we have obtained your personal data, we will process it confidentially for the following purposes:

In the Contact form

  • To respond to queries or any type of request made by the user through any of the contact methods made available on the website of the controller (based on the controller’s legitimate interests under Article 6.1.f of the GDPR).
  • Send commercial advertising communications via e-mail, fax, SMS, MMS, social networks, or any other electronic or physical means, whether currently available or developed in the future, that facilitate such communications. These communications will be sent by the controller and will pertain to its products and services, or those of its collaborators or suppliers with whom promotional agreements have been established. In such cases, third parties will never have access to personal data (in accordance with the data subject’s consent under Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).

How long will we retain your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing or as required by applicable legal obligations. Once the data is no longer needed for these purposes, it will be securely deleted using measures that ensure either the anonymization or complete destruction of the data.

To whom do we disclose your personal data?

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except when necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing. In such cases, it may be shared with our service providers involved in communications, with whom the CONTROLLER has entered into confidentiality and data processing agreements in compliance with current privacy regulations.

What are your rights?

As a USER, you have the following rights:

  • The right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • The right to access, rectify, port, and delete your data, as well as to restrict or object to its processing.
  • The right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing of your data does not comply with current regulations.

2. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER

By checking the relevant boxes and entering data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or in any download forms, USERS explicitly, freely, and unambiguously consent to the processing of their data as necessary to fulfil their request by the provider. The inclusion of data in the other fields is voluntary. The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER are accurate and agrees to notify any changes to this information.

The CONTROLLER informs USERS that all data requested through the website are mandatory, as they are essential for providing optimal service. If any required data is not provided, the information and services offered may not be fully tailored to the USER’s needs.

 

 

3. SECURITY MEASURES

In accordance with current personal data protection regulations, the CONTROLLER complies with all provisions of the GDPR and the LOPDGDD regarding the processing of personal data under its responsibility, specifically adhering to the principles outlined in Article 5 of the GDPR. These principles ensure that data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently in relation to the data subject, and that it is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

The CONTROLLER guarantees that appropriate technical and organizational measures have been implemented to ensure the security of personal data, in line with the requirements set forth by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS. Additionally, the CONTROLLER has provided the necessary information to USERS so they can exercise their rights effectively.
